He has been with the team for over 2 years learning all of the different nuances of the aviation insurance industry. Matthew Park has consistently demonstrated dedication, expertise, and a passion for excellence. His new role is a testament to his hard work and commitment to our team and clients.

He is a graduate of Connecticut College and was an ice hockey player with their club team. He continues to coach youth ice hockey in Santa Barbara, CA.

Sofia Niemela Joins Air Centurion

We’re excited to welcome Sofia Niemela to our team as an Assistant Underwriter.

She brings enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to support our aviation underwriting operations. We’re thrilled to have her on board and look forward to her contributions toward our success!

She is a recent magna cum laude graduate of Santa Clara University. And was a NCAA DIII Ice Hockey player before she decided to give up the skates and focus on her education back on the West Coast.

Air Centurion finishes First Year with SiriusPoint Partnership

Air Centurion has completed our first year with SiriusPoint America. We have achieved all of the goals that we set to begin our partnership. We have grown our risk appetite and begun writing 100% risks to help our clients grow.

SiriusPoint and their strong balance sheet have been a great partner. We have grown our portfolio over 10% and continued to build a profitable account.

To date Air Centurion has written over $175m in Gross Premium since our inception in 2016.

Air Centurion begins writing 100% Risks

We excited to announce that we have begun writing aviation risks with lower liability limits 100%. This increased capacity means we are more available for our brokers and their clients. While we do not solve all our the markets capacity issues we are pleased to add another option to a small marketplace.

We are looking at risks with less than $2m liability limits and hull values of $1m or less.

We are utilizing our partner, SiriusPoint America Insurance Company. With availability in almost all states.

Air Centurion Expands East

Air Centurion has decided to open an east coast office based in Laconia, NH. We will be able to reach our New England and east coast clients much better. We are excited about the new reach and it will be managed by Jason Niemela. More details on our new location will be updated soon.

Air Centurion partners with SiriusPoint

Air Centurion Insurance Services (“Air Centurion”), an aviation insurance program administrator (PA) has announced a strategic partnership with SiriusPoint Ltd. (“SiriusPoint”), a global specialty insurer and reinsurer.

 

Starting from August 1, 2023, SiriusPoint will provide capacity to Air Centurion, as well as collaborating on its underwriting strategy and product offering development. Air Centurion will exclusively use SiriusPoint America Insurance Company’s paper across the US.

 

Founded in 2016, Air Centurion offers insurance products to the aviation industry and has developed new technology based solutions utilizing data and analytics to streamline the underwriting process and provide better results to our capital providers.

Leslie Riskin Joins Air Centurion

We are pleased to announce that Leslie Riskin has joined Air Centurion as an underwriting assistant. Leslie brings a experienced background in aviation insurance having worked at Berkley Aviation and Starr Aerospace.

Air Centurion Grows

Air Centurion has had a very successful partnership with Falls Lake Insurance Group for almost two years. We have added two new employees over the last 12 months.

John Throne joined us as an Assistant Vice President and has moved to Vice President of Underwriting. He came to Air Centurion with a strong background in general aviation underwriting and broking. He was an underwriter with Starr Aviation and was a broker specializing in aviation with Aviation Risk Managers and Alliant. John is a graduate of Santa Clara University in San Jose, CA.

Gary Feramisco has joined Air Centurion to help develop our underwriting support and bring his extensive aviation and airline insurance experience to the team. Gary had been with XL Aerospace and Berkley Aviation. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA.
